A mother, a daughter, and a small shop in Fitzroy

In 1994 I opened a small shop in Fitzroy with one rack, one mirror and a kettle. I had one dream: a little corner of Melbourne where every woman who walked in felt truly seen, and completely at home.

My daughter Erin grew up in that shop, folding jumpers on Saturdays. Fourteen years later we opened a second one together, in Hawthorn, and thirty-two years on we still choose every piece side by side.

Because of you, that dream has grown bigger than either of us ever imagined.
