Two weeks of holidays in it and the colour has not faded at all despite the salt and the chlorine. Very happy, and it still holds its shape. It dries on the line in an hour.

Description
Side panels that do the slimming for you
Darlene uses an old dressmaker's trick: a contrasting panel down each side of the body. It narrows the figure from the front and gives a lovely curve at the waist. The bust has a twist detail at the centre that shapes and lifts, and soft ruching runs across the tummy below it. Wide straps sit comfortably on the shoulders and hold everything securely. It is a flattering, fuss-free one-piece that works just as well for lengths of the pool as for lounging.
Why choose Darlene?
- Contrast side panels: Blocks of a second shade down each side frame the body and make the waist look narrower and more curved from the front.
- Twist bust detail: A soft twist at the centre of the neckline shapes and supports the bust, with no wires or hardware to dig in.
- Ruched tummy: Horizontal gathers across the middle smooth and camouflage the tummy, giving a sculpted look that still feels comfortable to wear.
- Wide straps: Broad straps spread the support evenly across the shoulders, so the suit feels secure and settled while you swim, stretch and relax.

The fabric is thick and holds the tummy in nicely, which is what I wanted. Half a star off because the straps are a bit long on my short body. The leg cut is modest without being frumpy.

Finally a swimsuit with a skirt that covers the top of the thighs without looking dated. I feel comfortable at the pool and at the caravan park. The skirt does not float up in the water.

Here within a week and I tried it on straight away. The frills hide the tummy nicely and the size matched the guide, so no returning it. The lining is thick enough to swim in.

It dries fast and keeps its shape after a whole week of wearing it daily. The side ties let you adjust the length, which is very handy. The colour is richer than in the photos.

The support is very good and nothing moves when you actually swim in it. I took a 16 and it fits true, with no digging in at the shoulders. The straps stay put when you dive in.
